On July 4th
Janice Fast, a long time member, staunch supporter and volunteer of
the Mountain Communities Fire Safe Council was awarded the Mountain
Communities Fire Safe Council's first "Citizen of the Year"
award. Janice is a staunch advocate of making our forest safer and healthier
by doing fire abatement. Not only does Janice work with the Woodies
on a regular basis, but she has contributed her time, skills and equipment
far beyond the official work of the MCFSC. We thank Janice for her efforts
and look forward to her continued leadership.
