Welcome to the home page of the Mountain Communities Fire Safe Council (MCFSC), one of more than 125 fire safe councils in California. Formed in 2001, the Council is made up of a group of volunteers and staff who believe passionately in the need for all residents of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains to work together to make their communities more fire safe.

Board meetings of the MCFSC are open for interested members of the community to attend. They are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Meeting Room of the Mountain Communities Resource Center on Franklin Drive.
